Retail Sales Trends Continued to Strengthen Through December

HANOVER, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Utz Brands, Inc. (NYSE: UTZ) (“Utz” or the “Company”), a leading U.S. manufacturer of branded salty snacks, today reported IRI MULO-C retail sales for the 4-week and 12-week periods ended December 26, 2021. The Company is providing this interim update of Utz’s retail sales trends to correct inaccurately low previously reported syndicated data for these periods due to missing new items.

For the 4-week period ended December 26, 2021, the Company’s retail sales as measured by IRI MULO-C increased 14.2% versus the same period last year and increased 11.2% on a two-year CAGR basis versus the same period in 2019. For the 12-week period ended December 26, 2021, the Company’s retail sales as measured by IRI MULO-C increased 11.2% versus the same period last year and increased 10.5% on a two-year CAGR basis versus the same period in 2019.
