Since 1921, Utz has been built on the values of family, care, and community. Our people are at the heart of everything we do—and we’re proud to support them every step of the way. In 2024, we rolled out new learning and leadership programs and invested in associate engagement. As a result, we’ve seen a 25% drop in overall turnover and an even stronger culture of community and belonging. Because when our people grow, so do we. We’re proud to build a workplace where all associates feel supported, empowered, and connected to our mission.

Stay Safe

At Utz, safety isn’t just a policy—it’s a promise. In 2024, we restructured our safety team and expanded safety leadership training. Thanks to these efforts, we saw fewer workplace injuries across our facilities.

We also make it easy for associates to speak up—through our Open Door Policy and anonymous reporting tools. With better training and smarter systems, we’re creating a culture where safety comes first, every shift, every day.

Be Yourself

At Utz, we’re building a workplace where people feel connected, supported, and excited to grow. In 2024, we made it easier for new team members to feel at home, launched mentorship programs, and created more ways for everyone to share real-time feedback.

These efforts helped strengthen connections across our teams and made a real difference in how people experience work here. With support from our Utz Community Council and leadership training, we have a culture where everyone can thrive.

Give Back

At Utz, giving back has always been part of who we are. In 2024, we donated more than $250,000 in products and financial support to nonprofit organizations that are making a difference. It’s our associates who truly bring that spirit to life—volunteering their time, showing up for local events, and helping us support the neighborhoods we call home. Together, we’re proud to help build stronger, more connected communities.

Buy Responsibly

More sustainable farming practices have a role to play in protecting our planet—from the health of our soil and water to the strength of our food system.

In 2024, more than 99% of our industry contributions supported sustainability research. We also strengthened our supplier partnerships so we can keep delivering snacks you love, responsibly.
